To think I've been bitten by a baby cockroach ?

What bites

I have been air drying outdoor laundry. I have a cat who goes on my bed. Just laid on a towel on my bed and felt something sting nip me

I ran down the Stairs because I've been bitten by a spider before that got infected

I've got a bite on the back of my leg where I was laying my husband found a tiny tiny bug the size of like a poppy seed it was impossible to get the camera to focus it isn't a flea

I have the photo attached of the bug and also of my bite I've kept it paranoid in a jar because I'm worried it's got dirty diseases

Can anyone identify it?

I have just googled rock ticks bit can’t find anything. Ordinary ticks don’t look like that though and if it bit it would still be attached. They bite and hang on to suck blood

If it looks like a cockroach it's likely to be some sort of beetle. I have no idea if they bite though?

It's not a baby cockroach. Cockroaches don't usually bite but they can. I lived in a Cockroaches infested apartment in Asia and was munched on while asleep, it left a strange track mark.

Bed bugs look a bit like tiny cockroaches. Young bed bugs are a long oval shape.
