To think fucking basketball should be banned in in small backyard

We live in a terraced house basketball set up next to our window near enough.PISS OFF with your bouncy annoying balls . No problem with other garden noise but seriously this is migraine inducing, yes we've asked them to stop , they are of the opinion our garden our rules😡

yabu as long as they’re doing it in the daytime and not at midnight or something it’s fine

Gardens are for enjoying and if you have kids then they should be able to play in them. Unless it's wildly early or late at night, YABU

I understand where you are coming from, the sound of a basketball being bounced goes right through me.

I have 3DC and they have basketballs but they hardly use them as I cannot stand the noise (we will take them to the park that has a basketball court). I thought about getting a hoop and decided against it as it would just encourage them more.

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do, not long till the weather changes and they will be inside.

Thanks your reply sounds really reasonable, I have no problems with football, swingball general noise etc. But the basketball is very very annoying , they have to have it near the window apparently because of the hard patio floor, better for bouncing, they are now subjected to Foo fighters full blast when playing basketball. Hey my house my rules 🤷😊
