To ask what bedsheets I need to buy

To get that crisp feeling you get from really good hotel bedsheets?

I've bought expensive sheets, cheap sheets, it doesn't matter - they never feel as good as hotels. Where am I going wrong?

100% cotton and (unfortunately) an iron are the only way to get that hotel feeling

wibblywobblybits · 04/09/2022 15:24

Bollocks. I knew someone was going to say I've gotta iron them

I suspect hotels use starch. That’s what I’d try, although personally i prefer older, softer bed linen for comfort

2000 thread count or over & iron (yuk!) l

Iron and possibly starch

FOJN · 04/09/2022 15:33

Pure cotton (preferably Egyptian or pima cotton), high thread count and an ironing press but be warned that 1000 thread count feels like tent canvass and weights a ton when wet. I had some once upon a time, the novelty of crisp sheets wore off pretty quickly when I found out what the laundry commitment was.

Secret linen on line only

Egyptian cotton sheets. I don't iron mine but I get the feeling you're talking about!
