AIBU to be really irritated by the Mumsnet “We need your consent” boxes that appear every time you move to a different page. I can understand being asked on the first visit but surely giving consent should apply to the rest of that session on Mumsnet???

I don't think I've ever seen that.

Mumsnet doesn't care about my consent.

Ponoka7 · 03/09/2022 19:42

Is that on the app? I've never seen that either.

Snozzlemaid · 03/09/2022 19:42

Never seen that either

mountainsunsets · 03/09/2022 19:43

Never seen this.

PrepayMeter · 03/09/2022 19:43

Never seen them.

This is the message I’m referring to.

I had this when the forum first moved over to the new system, but not for ages

Aprilx · 03/09/2022 19:44

Never happened.

PurpleDaisies · 03/09/2022 19:45

There have been quite a lot of threads about this. Lots of users have had issues. It’s probably worth posting on site stuff.

catsonahottinroof · 03/09/2022 19:46

I don't get this on Mumsnet but do on pretty much every other website I visit - agree it's annoying as hell. The consent should remain in place until you delete cookies/clear your cache or whatever.

SquirrelFan · 03/09/2022 20:05

Yes, every single time. There are threads on site stuff about it but nothing seems to help!

YellowLoafers · 04/09/2022 16:03

Yep, I’m getting it every time too.

JustMeBeingMe2022 · 04/09/2022 16:04

I used to get his as well as adverts that literally filled my screen until I subscribed to pay…

I've got it on the mobile site, except I can't see the bottom half so I can't cancel it - I can't even read around it or move past it.

CurleyMango · 04/09/2022 20:51

It’s a right royal pain. Please make it stop.
