AIBU?
“We need your consent"

AIBU to be really irritated by the Mumsnet “We need your consent” boxes that appear every time you move to a different page. I can understand being asked on the first visit but surely giving consent should apply to the rest of that session on Mumsnet???
Am I being unreasonable?

I don't think I've ever seen that.
Mumsnet doesn't care about my consent.

I had this when the forum first moved over to the new system, but not for ages

There have been quite a lot of threads about this. Lots of users have had issues. It’s probably worth posting on site stuff.

I don't get this on Mumsnet but do on pretty much every other website I visit - agree it's annoying as hell. The consent should remain in place until you delete cookies/clear your cache or whatever.

Yes, every single time. There are threads on site stuff about it but nothing seems to help!

I used to get his as well as adverts that literally filled my screen until I subscribed to pay…

I've got it on the mobile site, except I can't see the bottom half so I can't cancel it - I can't even read around it or move past it.
