Loved this when it came out, it's not commonly played now but luckily popped into my head.

Any other bangers I'll have forgotten from back in the day? I'm late 30s btw so 90s are my jam

I was at uni then too, played this on my Sony walkman! Still think of uni when I hear it!

pitterypattery00 · 03/09/2022 21:32

Anyone else remember the Longpigs? Loved 'She Said'.

So many great 90s bands. Loves the Cranberries and Garbage, 'Special' is a great song.

One of the first songs I absolutely loved was To be with you by Mr Big!

EmmaH2022 · 03/09/2022 21:33

piterry oh I only know Blue Skies, will listen to more.

Elliania · 03/09/2022 21:34

Cerridwen83 · 03/09/2022 21:34

I was obsessed with this when it came out!!
Also Time to Burn.

pitterypattery00 · 03/09/2022 21:34

Everyone sitting down on the dance floor when James 'Sit Down' was played....ah that memories 😂

Lurkerlot · 03/09/2022 21:36

I just went to youtube to get the link to this! I wasn't sure if it was late 80's or 90's, but can confirm it was 1990.

QueenofLouisiana · 03/09/2022 21:38

Some fabulous 90s choons here. I went back to Jagged Little Pill earlier this week after not listening to it for about 10 years. I just need some DMs, a scrappy dress and a pint of snakebite and black now. Oh...and to be as immune to hangovers and to be a size 8 again.
May I offer this slight alternative option? I loved this along with Alannis, Skunk Anansie... My uni years were 1994- 1998, so many (hazy) memories of this time.

XelaM · 03/09/2022 21:38

90's has to have the Backstreet Boys.. sorry guys 😂

blueskyeve · 03/09/2022 21:39

Well this is one of the best threads I've ever read!

How about this one

pitterypattery00 · 03/09/2022 21:40

@Gitfeatures yes I should clarify that by dancefloor I meant at a guide disco, not a cool night club 😂

FannyFifer · 03/09/2022 21:40

I have found my 90s people!

Piggywaspushed · 03/09/2022 21:40

Absolute 90s is far superior to Heart.

They play Good Riddance by Green Day and Blur and Pulp and good stuff.

With the occasional errant Shania Twain creeping in.

Cerridwen83 · 03/09/2022 21:34

Also Time to Burn.

Zombie Nation is amazing...

And whilst it's 1999 so just slips into the 90s, Sandstorm by Darude is a dance classic...had it as my ringtone for ages as my DC got a little obsessed with it 😆

blueskyeve · 03/09/2022 21:41

Also this one

StormzyinaTCup · 03/09/2022 21:41
