To expect a bath towel each??

We’re staying the night in a French B&B. It’s very nice, clean and spacious. Owner seems pleasant. There are four of us in a large family suite. We have been provided with two large bath towels and two hand towels. Isn’t that a bit odd?? I’ve asked if we can have two more bath towels (thinking it was an oversight) and the owner has said that she always does it that way, but we can have more if we want.
My kids are tall teenagers, and you have to state their ages when booking so it won’t have been a surprise that they aren’t small children. We’re only staying here one night so it’s no big deal, but it’s not cheap and I just think it’s a bit odd not to provide a bath towel per person. It’s going to be a bit awkward at breakfast

It's not going to be awkward in the morning, I expect the owner has already forgotten about it.
