Have NC for this because I’m embarrassed at my financial situation.
Anyway, I have really hurt my foot. I can’t walk, it’s excruciating if I try to put any weight on it. Im assuming it’s tendonitis but there’s a chance something fell on it and I can’t remember, I’ve been moving things around for the last week.
I’m not in the uk and don’t have health insurance… to go for a consultation, x-ray and to have a boot fitted or a cast and crutches would cost in excess of £300. I can just about afford this (wouldn’t put me in debt) but I really don’t have it to spare!
I know I should go to the doctor, but I also know they’re just going to tell me rest. WIBU to ride it out? Im half tempted to look for crutches or a boot second hand at this stage. It’s bloody depressing and I can’t believe life has actually come to this.
