To claim marriage allowance now?

Been married since 2019 and never claimed the marriage allowance. Saw it advertised but when looking into it seemed such a faf
Now however, with the energy hikes I am thinking to apply for it 3 years later basically! Is this ok. Is it allowed?

If you are eligible they will backdate up to four years so definitely worth it. I did it when I wasn't working for a couple of years and I can't recall it being to onerous, I think it will be your DH that gets it iirc as a tax rebate to him

Yes obviously you should claim all you are entitled to, why wouldn't you? And they will backdate it. But you have to have a very low income to claim. Are you a SAHM?

If you are entitled to the full amount for three years it will be over £700
