Turning 37 soon, never really bothered with make up but feel now I'm an older woman that I need to do so. Problem is, I don't have a clue what to use or how to apply it. I dont want to spend loads of time each morning getting ready.
I am very pale, brown hair and blue eyed if that helps.

Some tinted moisturiser or BB cream in fair/ivory might brighten your skin up
I saw a suggestion on here of using dandelion from benefit on the cheeks for a natural brightening effect, and works well for me plus you can still see my freckles through it, sometimes I use over BB cream other times just on top of clear moisturiser or SPF
I quite like using JML mineral magic as well, helps balance out the red/pinkness I get sometimes and works well over SPF (I wear factor 30 year round, 50+in summer as I burn easily, that's the Irish genes for me)
I like a nice bright lipstick and some mascara, sometimes I use some darker blush for a more evening look, and some winged liner and false eyelashes, but that is a faff and taken years of work to be able to do both, not gonna lie. Magnetic lashes are easier to apply, and hide any eyeliner mistakes well. But for day to day I just use some lip balm, or sometimes some tinted gloss.
My kids can't tell whether I'm wearing makeup or not, unless I'm going out in which case it will be the darker eyes and heavier blush and falsies, which obviously they can. But day to day, a little bit of light colour on my face like the BB cream, dandelion or magic minerals, a light layer of mascara (usually just upper lashes with waterproof mascara during hay-fever season) and some lip balm, helps me look a bit brighter and better rested, but without really looking like I'm wearing makeup.
Brows I tint at home and use a bit of waxy stuff to keep them in place, or just some lip balm or Vaseline if that's all that's to hand.
Hope that's helpful in some way 😊

My go to is a tinted moisturiser and under eye concealer from Laura Mercier, a Bobbie Brown cream blush, a basic lengthening mascara and lip balm. Takes me roughly 5 minutes to slap it on and instantly makes me look brighter. Take a look on YouTube for a make-up artist called Lisa Eldridge as she posted some great every day tutorials. You can go down a bit of a rabbit hole on YouTube with tutorials and tips.

Good advice above. Charlotte tilbury light wonder is better than tinted moisturiser, in my opinion.

if you buy the Bobbi brown cream blush, go for the pot rouge as that can be worn on cheeks and lips and there are natural pinky beige colours

Probably not the reply you want but why do you feel the need to wear make up?

I'm early 60s, have never worn any, not even at my wedding. Good skin, good hair cut, good teeth. A smiley face helps too.

Yes, what @Catlover77 said about the pot rouge. It’s fab! Also, go to a beauty counter to actually try on different products to see what you like. I’ve bought some without trying and ended up not liking the way the product feels or the shade has been slightly off.

Because I am an older woman now and feel like I need to do so.
