The annual gas safety check is due in my rental home. The agent texted and asked if the gas engineer can come next Friday.
As I am away, I have asked if he could come a couple of weeks later, to which he replied if I mind if the engineer let himself in with a key.
I replied saying please do not give him a key, let’s revisit the topic when I am back so I can be present when he is here.
He got a bit arsey but agreed eventually.
AIBU in that I don’t want a stranger in my home when I am away?
