Report Job Centre Ex Staff?

I overheard an ex member of staff from my local job centre tell my neighbour the breakdown of my UC payment.

She no longer works there but is in a similar government post.

I can’t prove this happened unfortunately but I heard it word for word. It was an older entitlement month as I haven’t had UC for the past 6 months.

She has since left but I believe she has a note of my info as the figures they talked about included my child’s disability element, no one else knows this.

Im disgusted she is passing on such sensitive info but I don’t think there is much I can do.

Is there a way it can be told if certain staff accessed records without reason or should I forget it?

Why was she talking about it in the first place?????

Neighbour is just nasty, believes I’m committing benefit fraud as child’s disability isn’t physical so she thinks I’m lying basically.

To be honest I’m probably more angry about the fact my child was discussed more than anything.

As above, we live in close proximity. They don’t know I overheard.

The ex staff member said “ I can tell you now as I don’t work there now” then relayed the breakdown of the last payment I had, 6 months ago.

I was shocked. Reason - nastiness I imagine.

Would it just be a waste of my time to report as she isn’t in the same job anymore?
