Had a takeaway tonight and I thought I’d get a dessert too as it’s a rare treat.
And this is my chocolate fudge cake ..
Am I being unreasonable?

From the colour that looks like some sort of sponge cake with cheap frosting mixed with oreos. 100% not chocolate fudge

i would call that chocolate gateaux chocolate fudge cake is solid chocolate cake with chocolate fudge icing

It looks nice but it’s not chocolate fudge cake.
My Mum used to make a cake she called chocolate fudge cake which was an amazing cake but also nothing like actual chocolate fudge cake. I was almost expecting to see a picture of that cake - it was a sort of Madeira sponge, with a sugary chocolatish icing. Really nice but not what the name suggests .
