Had a takeaway tonight and I thought I’d get a dessert too as it’s a rare treat.

And this is my chocolate fudge cake ..

From the colour that looks like some sort of sponge cake with cheap frosting mixed with oreos. 100% not chocolate fudge

My Mum used to make a cake she called chocolate fudge cake which was an amazing cake but also nothing like actual chocolate fudge cake. I was almost expecting to see a picture of that cake - it was a sort of Madeira sponge, with a sugary chocolatish icing. Really nice but not what the name suggests .
