To ask for Family Pubs Recommendations around Lyneham/Chippenham/M4 corridor

We have a LONG drive next week to our holiday in Devon.

We are travelling with toddler/baby/dog and really need to break up the journey half way.

This puts us around the Lyneham/Chippenham area of the M4.

Ideally I'd love to find a pub with a big garden which is dog and kid friendly so they can all stretch their legs and we can have something to eat. Even better if it's not too far from the M4 so we can continue our journey easily afterwards

Or alternatively, if anyone has any great places to stop with outside space around this area, I'd be so grateful.

I'm losing myself in google maps and reviews at the moment!!

There's a great pub called The White Hart at Ford, near Colerne - not too far from the M4, or the Northey in Box. Would recommend both.

Both dog friendly too.

And on route to Devon: near Taunton, Monkton elm garden centre. Cafe/restaurant with a nice little play area for toddlers. Dog friendly too.

I came to say The White Hart at Ford, I worked there many years ago, it’s a lovely place.

There places just off the Chippenham exit. Not been myself, just drive past to join their regularly. There is a nice dog friendly pub at exit 19 (Bristol) the white horse.

The Pewsham is great.
