to ask for help finding graduate Software Engineering jobs?

Posting for traffic, sorry.

DH has just completed a degree in Software Engineering and is looking to see if there are any graduate positions or even internships that he could do working from home as we are currently abroad.

Always see it mentioned that there is a big demand for Software Engineers in the UK and other countries so thought I'd see if anyone had an idea about this question - I hoped that someone on here might be in the field or have a clue about this sort of thing!

We have had a search online but not found much.

Many thanks in advance, and sorry for misusing AIBU!

I would suggest to send his CV for review first. My husband did it and they told him to learn Spring first, before he applies. There's plenty of jobs, but getting the first one is quite hard. My husband says most of jobs are remote. He wanted to work from the office to learn, but looks like it won't be possible. It would be worth signing up with recruitment agencies too.

Use indeed.com

Get on linked in. You can use it to search for jobs and sometimes recruiters can message (you can add acquaintances and old school friends to your network or old colleagues)

Go on LinkedIn or GlassDoor, search for "Software Engineer" jobs and just apply.
Or if he knows the companies he wants to join, he can go on their career sites and see if there's anything there.
Just google "Microsoft careers" or "Google careers" etc

LinkedIn is king for software dev. The recruiters are really good, they're knowledgeable so he needs to start adding some of them to his profile in key cities. He also needs to make sure his profile is up to date.

We don't really do internships. He's looking for a Junior Developer role.
