Classrooms have no display boards or a whiteboard, just a smart projector. We have no access to resources as it's all locked away and we're not allowed it? There are no laminate pouches or even a laminator as it's 'been lost' in transit!
They have taken away our printers. Teachers are no longer allowed access to them. If we want something printed, we have to go to the 'print room' and the one person who works there (who is not computer literate. He's actually the caretaker not an IT technician) to print for us. We have to stand there and tell him exactly what we need so we have to physically be in the room with him.
There is one printer for 50+ teachers oh and printing is only available between 8am-10am, despite teachers starting at 7.30am. Some teachers were stood waiting in the room for over an hour today and that was when there were only a handful waiting. Everyone is upset and stressed. It's not viable and so unproductive. Oh and you can only go once a day, so if you need anything extra, tough!
It's all about money money money! I hate it! Fuck the teachers! Fuck the pupils! How can we squeeze every last cent out of everything?
We have pupils starting school tomorrow and we have no work books, reading books, pencils, erasers, glue or any equipment. Sweet FA!
