Personally I don't and wouldn't, the best case in that situation is that it's simply ineffective now and won't do anything, the worst case is it could be bad for your skin. Not a risk I would take.

Dotjones · 30/08/2022 14:25

Should be fine, worst case scenario is they're weaker or don't do anything.

If they still look and smell fine and haven’t seperated in anyway I’ll still use them
expiry dates on a lot of cosmetics is a bit of a con imo

Phrenologistsfinger · 30/08/2022 14:31

Yeah, usually fine. I have used very old stuff (few years) that stings a bit so suggest test patch first - no lasting harm though, just washed it off asap. Wouldn’t mess with anything eye related though.

Somethings very obviously go off. I had a fake tan that bothered separated and turned green. If there are no visual indicators and it the smell hadn't changed, I would use it (except sunblock).

It wouldn't cross my mind to look at the exp date so yes.
