If you knew someone who was regularly stealing from local shops, what would you do???

For context, it's not someone who is starving and stealing bread, milk etc. They are stealing clothes and make up from places like new look, next, river island, not because they are desperate, just because they can. They get a kick out of it and are throwing the stuff in the corner of a room. They have no intention of stopping and find the whole thing funny. They are not short of money, clothes or makeup.

What would you do? Keep quiet or not, to the shops I mean.

Has been going on for a number of years and has yet to get caught. Doesn't sit right with me at all.

Unless you have actual proof, there's not a lot you can do.

Do nothing and wait for them to get caught. It will happen eventually because people get too greedy and take more risks. A friend used to do this and we were forever telling her she’d get caught - she did eventually.

Just make sure you’re not out with her shopping and getting caught up in it.
