12.5 weeks pregnant and today I have eaten

Croissant and banana
Bag of crisps
very large chicken wrap
Family bag of sized haribo
peach
Roast dinner
some crackers to ward off sickness
few squares of chocolate

Is this horrendous? I have already gained 8 pounds in the first trimester. I don’t feel like I’m eating crazy amounts but apparently you’re only supposed to gain 1-4!

You need plenty of food when you’re pregnant and you need to keep the sickness at bay.

If you can replace the haribo and crisps with something less empty and more nutritious then that would be better but I’ve no idea if those are the exact things you are craving!

Ive gained 8 to 10lbs in 3 months lol.

Today i ate:
5 croissants with ham and cheese (small ones)
A sandwich
A bag of crisps
A chocolate bar
3 ice lollies

Oh im 12+6

Just to keep you company I’m 7w4d and today I’ve had:
Toast and marmite
Handful of Haribo Strawb sweets
2 boiled eggs and another slice of toast for lunch
2 yoghurt drinks
plain pasta with 1 spoon of tomato pasta sauce
honey sandwich
half an apple

I absolute cannot bear the smell of ‘cooked’ food, vegetables or meat. Normally I eat healthily but pregnancy sickness takes you to another place! I’m just going to eat what I can manage and make up for it when the nausea eases off. Hope yours does very soon!

I always thought I'd be really healthy during pregnancy to nourish my growing baby and then it happened and it was just a matter of survival 😂 first 12 weeks I survived off crisps, toast and fizzy drinks as it was the only thing that didn't make me sick. And now I'm 27 weeks and the sickness has passed but I'm definitely not as healthy as I could be!

after the bank holiday / once the nausea has passed I’ll be healthier etc…

Trust me if you start off with protein and have more fat and protein you’ll need to eat less and it will stave off the nausea.
but don’t worry too much I put on 9/10 lb in first trimester, lost a few in the first few weeks of second and have been fairly stable 0-0.5lb per week since.

I'm 10+1.
Nausea is so bad that I last ate a meal (Salad with salmon) 4weeks ago.

Today I've eaten
2x Welsh cakes.
2xslices of toast
A slice of pineapple
2x cups of water
The above has been my norm for 4 weeks

But today I managed A slice of beef, some cauliflower and green beans!!!

I'd say whatever you can eat, is a winner!!

I have plenty of weight to lose so I'm glad I didn't put any on in the first trimester. 14 weeks today. Today I accidentally skipped breakfast and felt horrendous so ate

Chicken soup with 2 slices of bread
Belgian bun
A piece of ginger cake
Pizza and garlic bread for dinner

I'm not the healthiest person and I need to make a conscious effort to eat more fruit and veg. Today was not one of my good days.

I did that with dc1 and gained about 4 stone! Was left 3 stone heavier after giving birth.

Did the same with dc2 but must have only gained the baby weight as six weeks after giving birth I was back to pre-pregnancy weight without any dieting. I think this is because my starting point was 3 stone heavier than pre dc1 weight!
