Could I be pregnant?

Hello all,

Apologies for putting this under AIBU, however looking for some traffic on the post. Hope that's ok💐

So I have a 6 month old DD. Been on the pill from when she was 3 weeks old! Came off it in June due to constant bleeding. Bleeding stopped, period returned to normal, thought great. Me and DP have been careful, apart from 2 silly nights when I was apparently ovulating.

So,

•My last period was July 28th.
•Going by the Flo app, I'm apparently 3 days late.
I was supposed to have ovulated between 1-12th august (I know it's not guaranteed to be accurate especially as we weren't tracking).
• I took a rest the day before and the day after my period was due. And it's negative.

My period is usually bang on.

Wtf is going on!

Could I be pregnant? Is my body just adjusting after DD?

I'm still getting some discharge which is clear. Not loads. Just reminds me of when I fell pregnant with DD.

Help & advice welcome from a very anxious mumma! 🤣

Thanks x

Yes you could be pregnant. You had unprotected sex twice while ovulating.

Are you pregnant? Maybe, maybe not. We don't know. Presumably your periods haven't settled after pill.

Wait a day or two, take a test with first morning wee (which, i assume, is what you used for the first two).

Gosh, the replies here are so unnecessarily blunt and rude.

OP, it sounds to me like you're a bit in shock. Yes, you could be pregnant, but your cycle could also be running late for other reasons.

Wish you all the best either way!

Not one but TWO silly nights! This is brilliant 😂

I’ll never understand why posters feel the need
to be so rude 🙄 whatever happened to ‘if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all?!’

good luck OP!

If you are a biological female between the ages of 12 and 55, and you have had a penis inside you in the last nine months, yes you could be pregnant.

Sparklingrainbow · 28/08/2022 13:32

Can you get a first response test they are the most sensitive so should give you a definite answer

good luck x

Merryoldgoat · 28/08/2022 13:36

You asked ‘could you be pregnant’.

You had sex when ovulating without protection.

Of course you bloody could.

Butchyrestingface · 28/08/2022 13:36

Congratulations, OP. Have you thought of a name? Smile

I don’t see what’s rude about posts which state the obvious back to an OP who seems to phrase two nights of unprotected sex during ovulation as an “exception”.

rocketfromthecrypt · 28/08/2022 13:38

To answer your question: yes, I'm afraid you definitely could be.
