I feel so stressed baby crying DC’s want my help with everything OH Just lazying on the sofa! I feel like packing up some things and just leaving for
a few days. Im sure it’s incredibly selfish but my god I’m ready to just leave all of them!

Ok, get your trainers on, go say to DP you need a break, you will be two hours. Walk. Find green space if you can. Walk for an hour then walk back. You need this. Please do it. Think about a longer term plan on your walk. What do you need? What would help? Plans with family/ friends? Time for a hobby or exercise? All too often the entire burden of the family falls on the mother. Until we reach breaking point.

Oh, and you are very polar opposite of selfish. But actually you need to be selfish right now.

It's a long time since I had my children but I remember feeling exhausted physically and mentally. Take some time to yourself right now as previous poster suggested - it is very important and in no way selfish, please don't feel it is.

YANBU. DH is on his 3rd nap of the day. When he's not lazing around on his phone he's just sitting on the toilet on his phone for 30mins at a time, 4x a day. Pretty sure he's just pretending to poo since it's not physically possible to go that often (and obviously no existing GI illness).

The only way I get through the urge of just fucking off completely and buying a one-way ticket to Tokyo is to imagine life with DD as an older child/teen/adult. Someday all this work will be worth it even though it's thankless and relentless right now.
