What utter crap is being manufactured/sold FFS! Honestly I despair of the human race.

Hope the link works.

That would be a monstrous waste. Not to mention rude. And a bit frightening.

I mean I'd probably just put it on ebay myself

@AnnaFri because it's unnecessary plastic tat.

It's quite easy to clean sponges properly, people are just lazy.

Personally I'd say beauty blenders are unnecessary plastic tat. And whilst I know they aren't technically plastic, they are a crude oil product that doesn't easily biodegrade.

willowglass · 27/08/2022 13:23

It's just more stuff, more shit to make us buy stuff we don't need to fuck up womens bank accounts and the planet.

So is hoover if you have hard floors, since you can sweep them.
So is the sponge since you have fingers.
So are washing up bowls since you have perfectly good sink...
So are many things...

It can go with this a makeup brush cleaner and dryer

I've got one of these. It's bloody brilliant.

If anyone bought me anything like that, I think I'd jump on it in front of them. 🤬

Lol.🤣🤣🤣🤣

Typical sneary Mumsnet superiority. Well done you, OP.

That looks amazing but this worries me "We surveyed 1000 women and discovered:
44% had never washed their makeup brushes" are these women who don't own makeup brushes if not that is grim.

TildaRae · 27/08/2022 17:14

I don’t see what’s wrong with this? I know a few people who would love this!

Golfwithfriends · 27/08/2022 17:36

I agree OP. It's a completely unnecessary product that will just end up in landfill eventually. It is also just more clutter that fills up your house. If someone can't clean a make up sponge once in a while then god help them!

Loics · 27/08/2022 17:42

I suppose it's a fact that people are getting too lazy to do even the smallest things by themselves, so there will definitely be someone parting with £41 for this! It's true what they say about a fool and his money, but then again if people were silly enough to buy something like this and I could manufacture it, I have to admit I wouldn't mind taking their money for it!

inappropriateraspberry · 27/08/2022 17:52

Think how many beauty blenders you could buy for £41!

NovaDeltas · 27/08/2022 11:52

Christmas is coming and people can't wait to fill landfills with plastic tat.

^

I’m way more mindful of this now than ever.
