To say thank you to all the 'cheerleaders' out there

Full disclosure: I've had a few drinks whilst DH cooks a lovely dinner and I'm feeling that lovely warm glow of thankfulness for all the people in the world and in my life who are wonderful and supportive. Reading through a response to a post I made a few days on here when I was finding things tough being at home with my DC I realise how support can come from any direction- from strangers just as much as close friends and so a big thank you to everyone who takes the time to post supportively on here and to those who are cheerleaders and supportive of others IRL too. In a world where it's easy to just focus on yourself it does make a difference when you take the time to lift others up.

Feel free to name and share people in your life that have made a difference and let's share the love!

I agree how a few kind words can make the world of difference on a bad day.

On here, or in real life.

Awww enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling! This was a nice post to read and I’m usually the cynical snarky one 🤣

Aw that's so nice OP! Made me smile on a foggy grey morning!

Lovely post, OP! I’ve seen some genuine kindness on here amongst the pointless nastiness and it always restores my faith in humanity a little bit.
