Work paying late/wrong and UC

Long story short, I am personal carer for one person, TUPEd over to a new company as my client turned 18 so moved to different company for adults.

I work 2 -3 night shifts a week and my partner works full time. It's not possible for me to work any more as I am exhausted with days of no sleep. So we are trying, not scrounging before anyone jumps the gun.

Never been paid correctly in the few months I've been with this company.

Last month was underpaid by £300, they took 16 days to pay me this after payday so this fell into the next UC payment assessment period.

This month they have overpaid me. By approximately the same amount they underpaid last month.
So UC will see it as me being paid twice in one month. Even though I'll have to send work back what they've overpaid me obviously.

So will get no UC this month thanks to their fuck up, over the two months of them messing up pay we are down about 600, if not more.

Don't think there is anything I can do here really. Just wanted to moan and maybe see if anyone else was in a simular situation or had been through something the same.

Why are you £600 down for a £300 payment?

Don't send the money back, they need to deduct it from your next wages for tax reasons aswell as the UC

Have you tried to contact UC? Left a note in your journal?

Also is your net pay actually £300 higher than it should be this month as I would expect them to put the payment on your payslips but then take it back again as a pay advance. Again for tax and UC reasons
