Stress response or something worse?

DH and I have been disagreeing on something for a few days. It started with arguments on Monday, Tue evenings and a huge argument yesterday. We argued for 6 hours straight and I was shouting talking most of the time. A lot of pent up issues related to SIL2 and DH not sticking up for me - I’ll save this for a different thread and come straight to the point.

I have tightness just below the junction of my collar bones in the middle, taking deep breaths, lost my voice and struggling to talk long sentences.

Does this sound like an emergency or is it some kind of stress response to the shit show of the last few days?

I'm not surprised you have lost your voice if you were arguing for 6 hours straight! Definitely sounds stress related.

how do I bring down stress quickly?? I’d have downed a bottle if I didn’t give up alcohol 🍷

Definitely stress. Try not to talk for a day if possible lol just tell people you've lost your voice, chill In the bath and get lost in a book.

Have ice cold shower, for 1-2 min. On the crown of your head, your face and your chest.
