To complain to BT?

So BT knocked asking if they could trim our very tall tree to provide access to service for neighbour. We have just moved in so said yes as we didn't want to put anyone out.

The tree surgeons came and left without asking if the job was OK, they have cut 4m of height off straight across, no shaping. This was a beautiful tree and it looks like it's got a bad bowl cut - terrible picture attached to illustrate.

I am really shocked at the job they have done, I have put in a complaint as I would like them to come back and shape the tree!

In relation to the height of the tree it is a trim!

Do you have an after picture?

That picture is just one I found on Google, I didn't want to post a picture of my house and I can't really get the tree without that.

My tree is in my front garden.

I think you should have stipulated this before they did the job. Many people (including myself) wouldn't care how they trimmed it, so if you wanted it done a certain way, this should have been emphasised when they asked your permission.

That makes sense in hindsight, I just didn't think they would cut it so badly :/
