Is this normal his hair has covered it so never noticed it. Or I may have done but now I suffer with health anxiety so panicking.

Is it raised or bobbly?
I'm very much like you with HA, FIL a GP and told me extremely unlikely for kids to have melanoma so take some comfort there.
If you're fretting, take him to the GP

It’s hard to see but might be a little raised! He won’t let me look at it properly 🤣 tells me to get off. Yeah I did research and it said like 1 child in the uk has had it between age of 5-9 so I’m guessing it’s unlikely but scares me 😫

Not sure if it is raised to be fair it may be cos hair is growing through it. I’ve zoomed in as much as I can but shows hair follicles 😂 I may watch it for a few weeks and if changes take him to doctors

It's just a mole? They aren't a problem unless they start to change shape or colour quickly. I'm covered in them and have never had a problem with a single one.

Please get help for your health anxiety if you aren't already.

I have one on my head. Just let hairdressers know so they don’t nick it with a comb

RichardOsmansXraySpecs · 21/08/2022 12:09

My DS has had them on his head for as long as I can remember, he's 19 now.
As pp said only a problem if they change shape/size/colour.
