To think more people than normal are unhappy?

I know some people are still happy. But I seem to keep having friends usually happy confessing they are really struggling. Is it just my social circle or are others finding the same?
YABU - no
YANBU - yes I am finding the same

I can't vote on the app but I am finding the same.

So many people saying their anxiety is through the roof, lots of people in my circle are now taking an anti depressant.

I wonder if it's all a consequence of covid and being isolated from normal life and then normal life coming back and people just can't manage it after so long it being different.

I don't know. I wasn't very social before and neither were they but I agree a lot more people seem unhappy.

The last 2 years haven't been great at all and the rising cost of everything has just topped it off really.

Probably your circle

I don't know anyone who is actively unhappy.

But then again I don't know anyone who has to choose between hearing their homes and feeding their kids

I have developed health anxiety which I've never had before but I had some blood tests, thankfully all is ok but I get the anxiety now what people talk about. I've been worrying for months and putting off going the doctors.

It was like a constant worry for me, always there at the back of my mind.

Possibly if you were a worrier before covid it's impacted the worry about things in general resulting in a lot more people feeling low.

I'm normally a happy positive person. The last few years have been awful with covid restrictions. Now with cost of living rises, Russian war and climate change its a constant stream of doom and gloom.

I think anyone who is not anxious about the future is not paying attention or so rich they don't care.

My friend circle is struggling. We've discussed amongst us what's causing it. Some of us feel it's lockdown anxiety etc. health is crap after covid. Financial strain. It's been a really shit couple of years with no real end in sight.
It's definitely tough right now to be happy
