I've actually never seen this before and the add just popped up whilst I was browsing on MN.

Is this actually a thing or am I living under a rock? What are your thoughts on this?

We did one briefly when DD was between schools. It was much cheaper than that though!

Oh I'm just living under a rock then. Can I ask how old your DD was when she joined?

Mine was at Wolsey Hall. We were really pleased with it. It was unusual in that it wasn’t classes, but work set in chunks. The support was good.

Oh and she was 12.

I am thinking of taking 9 year old ds travelling for 6 months in a years time and something like this would be great. Can you drop in for a term and a half? It not being classes would work much better for us.

Thank you. Reason why I asked the age is cuz I have much younger ones (reception age) and although I'm really interested in this; it probably wouldn't work with younger kids? But that's just my thinking.
