So I had a big(ish) transformation and went firm brunette to blonde. When I first said I was doing that she said how she preferred me brunette.

Anyway. I had it done a couple of months later and she didn’t really comment much on it. But the cut is a lot shorter and she literally did a gasp when she lifted my hair up to see the length.

When we left she walked behind me and it was because she wanted a back view of my hair and just did that sucking air through her teeth noise.

It is shorter than I wanted or asked for but I can’t change that sadly unless I get extensions which I don’t want to do. I get there’s being truthful but like I said I can’t change it and glue my hair back on so she could have just been a bit nice..

Yes she was definitely being a bit mean. There's nothing wrong with someone saying they prefer one hair colour to the other but making noises and going on about it is taking it too far

oh just ignore her and maybe she is just jealous of you and your hair. Bet it is lovely and wish I could go blonde but have very black hair. Have 2 inches of white roots to cover so have to get it done over next few days and my hair grows soo fast. Lots go blonde when get older for this reason as greys/white hair easier to blend in but stands out so quickly if very dark. Think my son would die of shock if I went blonde but do love my dark hair just hard to keep roots done. Your hair will grow so quickly so embrace it and she sounds soo mean. Maybe just shocked though as you did such a transformation.
