6 months old bumped head HELP

I'm totally panicking. My baby rolled out of her play pen (head was up in the air as she rolled and the play pen is a little elevated, so it was a reasonable height) and whacked her head hard on the hard wood floor. She immediately screamed but did stop after a minute. But I'm panicking as there is no hard bump. There might be an ever so slight soft bump but it might also just be normal skin. I'm so worried but I'm an anxious person in general so I've no idea whether I'm overreacting or whether it would be normal to take her to A&E. The problem is she's already out of sorts. We had her at the doctor this morning because she's been vomiting, smiling and engaging less for a few days, and seems really grumpy. So it's going to be hard to check for symptoms for the bump. I honestly feel sick with fear and worry and guilt.

I’m so sorry. I’m not a parent (yet) but I’d suggest definitely going to a&e for some reassurance ❤️

I’d get her checked just to be on the safe side. Either phone 111 and ask for their advice or take her straight to a&e. It’s most likely nothing to worry about but you won’t feel okay until she’s been checked over.

It’s a rite of passage as a parent, it’s happened to us all.

Personally if you’re worried I would suggest 111. They may say A&E, but around here you get seen fairly quick in children’s A&E.

At 6m my DS rolled off a bed and onto a guitar case. My logic was that it was designed to take impact so was better than the floor!
