To think maybe friend wants me to stay single?

I’d just like opinions because I’m an over thinker. Also friend is not single which I guess is relevant.

Guy one. I had a date with him, it was ok. We spoke a couple of days after and then he blocked me. She said she discussed it with her boyfriend and I should move on. (I genuinely had no intention to contact this man again anyway).

Guy two. Friend of different friend. Showed her a photo of him, “oh he looks so up himself and arrogant” - which I felt was an unfair comment based on nothing but a photo as she doesn’t know him:

Guy three. I showed her the messages and she knew we had a date planned for this weekend. But the messages to her looked like we were playing games so I should move on.

I genuinely could be over thinking, especially with the first one. I just thought with two it’s unfair to say something negative about him when he’s a complete stranger and three I don’t know why she’d tell me to not go on the date when I’ve known the man 3/4 years and I don’t think it’s game playing.

Stop sharing so much with this "friend." Why are you, anyway? You don't need her opinion or permission.

Why are you feeding all this information to a friend? The only person whose opinion of these guys matters is you, and the only decision which matters is the one you make.

I think it’s just a case of - this is my friend and I’ll share this with her type of thing. As she does ask me most times if I’m on dating sites etc.

I won’t be doing that now.
