I have a friend who I have known about 6 years.
She has three children (1, 5 and 7) and has had various mental health struggles but generally the kids have been OK.
Another friend who was a friend of this lady until they fell out says this she is a compulsive liar and not everything adds up in what she says (mainly around her apparently abusive ex partner who she got arrested for sexual abuse of her children which cost him his career)
I have always tried to remain impartial and provide a listening ear however do take everything with a pinch of salt as I do see that the stories don't always add up.
Anyway friend had met a new bloke and apparently they have gotten involved in drugs and she has now gone missing with the children and she and the kids have been reported as missing to the police. I found out about this today. The dads of the kids are going out of their minds understandably as she is apparently not looking after the children or herself well (I haven't seen her in a few months and she has dropped about 6st in weight and the kids and house are dirty and her house was apparently raided by the police.
I sent her a Facebook message which she has read but not responded to and I don't know what to do. She obviously needs help especially as she has the children but if the police are involved then she won't want to be found.
I know it is a lot but does anyone have any advice. I am very worried about the kids and also my friend. She is a decent person who I think has got in way over her head.
