Are they worth the £300?
Kinda thinking about getting it as I don't see any other white kettle and toasters I like

Definitely worth it! I've got the kettle and 4 slice toaster in blue

If you can afford it, and like them, they are (I’m my opinion) v pretty and they work well. The kettle can be susceptible to limescale so consider using a filter if in a hard water area.

I've a kettle which is probably 10 years old now and has stood the rest of time but isn't quite as pretty these days (I could probably tidy it up with limescale remover). I did look to replace it as I am really quite lazy but was shocked at the prices now. When it finally dies I'll probably buy another.

100% worth it

Love ours and had them for years

Rachelw84 · 14/08/2022 12:57

Highly recommend it, looks good and can last a while if looked after properly

Heckythump1 · 14/08/2022 12:57

No they're rubbish, particularly the toaster, worst toaster i've ever used. everything other than a standard square slice of bread gets stuck and mangled.

I had the kettle a while back, I don’t think it lasted even two years and the lid opening thing broke very early on.

I bought the kettle. It looked great but the lid became faulty and wouldn't shut.

Smeg we're good and swopped it.

The second one also developed a fault. It started leaking from the bottom.

I decided just to replace it. Now have a John Lewis own brand kettle and it's lovely.

I don't use a kettle much as my husband has a fancy coffee machine and I don't drink coffee or tea.

I only use it to boil water for pasta/rice/potatoes. So they don't get a lot of use.
