Ryanair check-in - covid docs for child?

Posting here for traffic as Ryanair are of no help whatsoever!

I'm trying to check-in for Ryanair flights to Spain tomorrow and it's asking to upload proof of covid jabs. I've done that for the 4 adults but it's also asking for proof for my daughters. According to the guidance under 12s are exempt from this but there's no way on the Ryanair check-in process to bypass this.

Anyone else had this lately, was there any problem at the airport because of this?

We have friends that recently flew to Spain (July) and had the same issue....they uploaded copies of their Covid status to the kids so they could get past the booking/checking in process...they checked with both countries for their covid requirements and just kept to this (for Spain back then it was masks on public transport, but that was it).

Check the current requirements for Spain on the Gov.uk website and also Ryanair, but I would stress too much about uploaded docs as they apparently don't check them.

We had to do this for Virgin and then weren't asked. Apparently they stopped doing it but hadn't update their site.

To add it was a US flight and they had stopped those requirements.

Thanks both, that's reassuring!

The annoying thing is that they've both had their jabs but I don't have a covid pass for them, didn't think I'd need it!

I am currently in spain and flew out with Ryan Air. I uploaded mine and teen DDs covid docs and just ignored it when it asked for DS (10) docs, the system obviously hadn't kept up to date with the changing requirements that's all.

and nobody checked any documents at airport either...

I forgot to upload it for recent flights to and from Denmark on ryanair. You can check in and get your boarding pass fine without it, and I was in a hurry and had bad Internet signal and thought I'd do it later. Completely forgot until I was at the gate...noone cared or checked. So I didn't do it for the way back either. Think tis just a thing on the ryanair app that just applies it to all passengers and flights, but it only matters if you are going to a country with covid entry requirements

OP there will be an online record of their vaccination. It's whether you have access to it.

But honestly my experience is that they didn't even ask. But check for the current Spanish requirements.
