I remember around 20 ish years ago seeing a document that had a long list (as in several A4 sides) of medical abbreviations/terms that GPs commonly use - or possibly did in the past (the research I was doing at the time may have been historical). I can't remember too much about it, except for the reference "half kneeling" and "half standing," referring to patient's gait.
I would love to source this document again - it was in the public domain, but my googling isn't working.
