My son has had a swollen lymph node (very large) on his neck for almost 3 weeks now. We've been to the doctors 3 times he's been on penicillin for 2 weeks and I took him back in and they've put him on a different antibiotic for another 2 weeks.. with no sign of improvement, they've been saying he has thick tonsils and I'm guessing that's why his gland is the size of a golf ball. But I worry about all the medication he's taking 4 time a day that doesn't seem to be making a difference.
