To be absolutely shocked that the River Thames is basically just pebbles at the moment?

Just showed it on Channel 4 news (not the main part). Is this down to the drought? Why do people blame other people though for "wasting" water but don't take into consideration it also doesn't rain as much and for it to be without rainfall for much longer (and then when it does come, in some parts, thankfully not mine, severely flood and people can lose their home)? We can't control weather.

It's the source isn't it?

Because of the lack of rainfall, we need to avoid wasting water

The source has dried up, as it has in the past. Earlier in the week I had to travel to a town on the Thames and it did not look noticeably low.

We need to save water though, our area already has restrictions.

Also the Thames is tidal all the way from the sea to Teddington so it could have been that the tide was out too.
