Have been suffering with terrible pain in urethra and uti like symptoms since before Christmas.
Had cystoscopy and urethral dilation a week and 2 days ago now and the pain is still debilitating and I'm really struggling. The surgeon was very positive about the outcome saying his gut feeling was I'd be ok but to expect a rough week re pain and difficulty urinating etc. Prior to op he said 50/50 chance it would help.
Aibu to already be terrified it's not worked and I could be stuck like this? I'm so scared - sadly gp have been very unhelpful so family helped pay privately (which I'm very thankful for) but don't know if I could afford further treatment. Would be helpful to hear any other similar experiences. Post op mid September. Thanks so much.
