To wonder what has happened to dove stick deodorant

And to wonder what people are using instead?

I've been using dove stick deodorant for at least the last 10 years, and it's the only deodorant I get on with (can't stand sprays or roll ons).

I havnt been able to find any in the shops for months, and have tried mitchum stick and a different dove that's a cream but not like the stick, and both leave bad marks on my clothes/make me feel more sweaty.

I've seen you can buy the dove stick on amazon but for 3 times what it was in the shops.

Firstly, has anyone any idea if its just a supplier issue and they'll be coming back (please!)
Secondly, anyone else that has used this for years and can't get any now, what are you using now, can you recommend anything similar?

Thanks in advance ☺️

For those struggling to find mitchum, I ordered this one a couple of weeks ago.

Oh that's annoying, I was looking for Mitchum on Amazon the other day and the only one I could find was 41p with £29 postage! I ended up buying a box of six sure max strength sticks for £21 (still not bad at £3.50 each as they're a fiver in Tesco)

It was the same a few months back with the Dove intensive repair conditioner which I also use. Luckily that has returned to home bargains so hopefully the deodorant will follow suit.

When the Dove stick started irritating my underarms I moved to Nivea Pearl stick which is spot on. Seem to only be able to get it in Superdrug though.

You lifesaver! Just ordered 5. Thank you so much.

@Haybo26 that's why they're in short supply

Wind your neck in. Its deodorant, not water.

The only place I’ve found them recently has been Savers - random bits of leftover stock of the Dove maximum protection were in my local
one.

I looked today in our local supermarket and there were no women's stick deodorants. All were either roll on or cream. Men's section had loads so I chose the one which smelled the least (Nivea) and will see how it is.

I switched to Fussy from aerosol Nivea or Sanex and I really love it. I can be quite stinky au natural but this worked straightaway and I don’t get the inflamed follicles I used to occasionally get.

One refill lasts me ages so it isn’t expensive. It’s also very nice looking, which is weirdly satisfying.
