Since it's lovely weather

Have my tea, check work email, go to bed and try sleep in blistering heat

Buying school uniform for teens, arguing with DH as whether it is time to open the windows.

About to eat a big fucking salad.

Then settle the current riveting exciting family debate as to whether or the letter A, hey and hay all have the same sound.

I’ve been at work all day and I’m about to have something to eat.

Spent the day driving around for air con and cool shops. DD and I had cake and iced coffee with a friend this afternoon and now I'm flopped in bed, melting

DS had a horse riding lesson this morning and then just had a lazy afternoon in the flat. Too hot for much else.

Went to work 5am-2pm, walked home, dying, then had lunch and a nap. Woke up, cleaned the house top to bottom, had a shower, then made a huge salad for dinner. Now in bed, as I'll be up at 4am again for work. I ventured into the garden to water the pots.

Exciting eh!

Im in bed already. Shattered and going to sleep very soon.

No one on mn just has salad. It’s always huge salad

Mine is a big fucking salad which must be an entirely different beast than a huge salad. But I could not say this with certainty.

Huge salads are a boring exaggeration that must be done on MN. You haven’t Mumsnetted properly until you’ve made a comment about your huge salad.

someone should start a photograph thread “show your huge salad” and everyone could comment about how the photographed salad is or isn’t huge. We could outsalad each other.

Huge is totally subjective, after all.

I had a small side salad It came in a box ready prepared, because I just couldn't face the kitchen.
I did have some 'nice crusty bread' though which is another MN must.
As for today's activities not a great deal, except a lunchtime visit to the pub for hydration purposes.

Horrendous d&v for 3 days. Gutted to be missing the good weather.
