To let you know the Cadbury Mystery chocolate bar flavours?

Mystery Bar 1 is washing up liquid. Mystery Bar 2 is cucumber and banana. Definitely.

Having eaten the rest of bar one, I've changed my mind and now think it's rhubarb and custard

Has a consensus been reached yet on what the Bertie Bott's Cadbury's flavours are?

One = banana
Two = something perfumed like rose

Finally tried bar 2 and I'm convinced it's blue raspberry, it tastes like those cups with film lids that you stuck a straw through in the 90s

Number 2 is vile. I could only manage half a square and I live chocolate.
No idea what it is but it’s horrible.

I'm not one for any flavoured chocolate really so didn't have the expectation of liking them.

I was disappointed that it was a centre that was flavoured and not the actual chocolate though. I can stomach flavoured chocolate slightly more than chocolate with a filling with the exception of cheese and onion flavoured chocolate, that was seriously grim.

Anyway I tried a square of each one. I said tutti frutti for No 1 and either blackberry, or some random better, for No 2. Then argued with my offspring about it. Apparently Tutti Frutti isn't a real flavour. I blame myself, evidently I brought them up badly.

Also, it has to be artificial doesn't it? Otherwise wouldn't it be listed in the ingredients as its real self?

Only tried no 1 so far. I get cheesecake with an aftertaste of hand sanitizer. Hubby thinks strawberry with aftertaste of fairy liquid. The chocolate itself is tolerable but definitely not nice. The aftertaste is pure nasty. I’ll still probably buy no2 to try though…..

@AnImaginaryCat tutti frutti is absolutely a proper flavour. Just not a very good one.

We thought 1 was raspberry ripple, 2 was banoffee

Similar to my theory on why they brought out the Fuse bar - it was just all the sweepings-up and leftover bits from the other manufacturing compressed together!

You need to be a food taster clearly! I thought Turkish delight for one and didn’t get any of the other as Murphy son and husband snaffled it in moments without giving me any and didn’t even taste it as it went down! 🤣
