After spending hours on the phone each month trying to get them to acknowledge I am actually with the company and them taking 9 months to open an account that I can access all that has happened is for the 2 weeks the account has been open I have been hounded by the Collections department threatening me with ruining my credit file because of my tardiness at paying the bills.
Bills I have only just received.
My May-July 3rd bill was billed at the end of July and was paid
I thought I was up to date and received the latest bill on 3rd August. I pay all bills on a certain date in the month and it will get paid on that date.Hence why I chose a date nearer when my payments are made
I received this today
We recently got in touch about your £Xxx.xx debt
(I think they mean my latest bill dated 3rd August)
which is now more than a month overdue
(Well obviously it must be 4th September for it to be a month overdue)
Since we share data with credit reference agencies, your credit rating might be affected – so it’s important we sort this together
Maybe give people a chance to actually pay the bill and stop lying that it is a month over due.
Also why does it take so long for payments to actually clear to your account,
ATM I am charging them £20 per hour for time I have to waste dealing with this stuff.
Tried to telephone but after spending time on the phone I was cut off mid first sentence (not for the first time) the chat box which confirmed my email address and said I hadn’t responded so they were cutting me off in the same second was another joke they did
Add in they have billed someone else in my household and threatened them with court action even though they are not even on the bill or on the tenancy agreement and wouldn’t tell me what my bill was
Sorry probably really garbled but I am so angry
Going to work now but feel like I have spent my morning off trying to sort companies out.
Another company is getting a daily fine for something they don’t have any urgency on putting right.
I think they aren’t bothered with the fines.
