Aibu to ask for winter (snow) holiday recommendations?

Sorry I know I am but I’ve posted on other pages before and they just don’t get the traffic.
myself, dh and 6yo DS, looking for a family winter holiday, not skiing but tobogganing, dog sledding etc, visit to Father Christmas not necessary!
its DS first trip away and our first time abroad in 7 years. We’ve seen a lovely break in Finland but we would need 2 flights and a layover in Helsinki for 8 hours so I think that might be a bit too much for us all!

does anyone have any recommendations? 4-7 nights ish, anywhere family friendly and snowy , TIA!

Where are you flying from? There are direct flights to lots of places in Finland from the UK
You could go somewhere like Levi, loads of things to do there

Finland would be lovely - so would Canada, or perhaps somewhere in the Alps?

I think Canada might be a bit too far on the plane, I’m not sure DS would cope! Or me 😂
