Cheese bread loaf?

I’ve just picked up a loaf of cheese bread from the co-op as it was reduced to £0.70.

What goes well with it? I’ve never had it before.

I was thinking paté or salami maybe?

Toasted it's amazing with tomato soup

MomwasCasual · 05/08/2022 17:13

More cheese.

SteelCicada · 05/08/2022 17:14

Yummy (agree it's likely to be even more delicious after light toasting). I like it with plenty of butter and sliced tomatoes. Also with soup.

Lovely thick salted butter and naice ham

Bacon.
Mayo.

More cheese.

😂😂100% agree. My cheese-loving sister is about to come on a visit from abroad. We're going to positively wallow in the stuff. Can't wait to outrage my cheese-disrespecting DH with this sort of shit.

Thanks for the inspiration.

The coop cheesy bread is adored in our house! Yes, goes with anything, lovely stuff!

SaskiaRembrandt · 05/08/2022 17:46

Definitely, more cheese!

Cut it into slices, toast one side under the grill. Put tomatoes, mushrooms and more cheese on the other side, then pop it back under the grill.

Cheese more cheese and onion chutney
soup

tattychicken · 05/08/2022 21:14

Oh my god toast it and put more cheese on top. Heavenly bread. But the Co op cheese and jalapeño bread wins first prize in the bread Olympics. 🏆

Geneticsbunny · 05/08/2022 21:25

Marmite

RaininSummer · 05/08/2022 21:41

I didn't know the coop had such nice bread. Am going to investigate that.

Moon22 · 05/08/2022 21:55

I had corned beef on mine earlier.. not everyone's cup of tea but was delicious!
