I’m nearing the end of my first week in a fab new job, living in a lovely little home in a safe, welcoming community and I just feel so grateful to all the support MN gave in getting here.
When I posted tentatively about my misgivings around my then-OH, I received someone’s first ever LTB. And it took a bit of planning, which MN users also helped with, but I did. Thank fuck I did. I’m free and happy.
Those misgivings arose because I’d thought about retraining. Ex preferred me stuck and used all sorts of explanations as to why I shouldn’t do it. MN users encouraged me. Thanks to that support, I qualified and landed this wonderful job using the qualification.
Throughout all that, DD’s SN became more apparent. Struggling with next steps in getting and then coping with her diagnosis, who was there? The community of MN. Now, she’s absolutely thriving.
I’ve been through a few name changes but over the last 8 years, this site and the wonderful people on it have been there for me over and over.
So I just wanted to say… and hope IANBU to say…
Thank you.
