To ask how the hell you stop your clothes coming out of the washing machine with dust on them?

Long title I know but I hope this makes sense.

Can I ask how people stop their clothes coming out of the washing machine with loads of dust on it? I don’t know how to explain it but everytime I wash my clothes you’d think there was tissue in the drum that broke apart and went all over the clothes. I have to use a lint roll EVERY single time after my clothes have dried because of how it looks.

This never happens to my kids clothes yet I wash everyone’s clothes on the same setting. Does anyone know where I’m going wrong? Is there something I can put in the washing machine to stop this happening? I feel like I’m leaving the house with raggedy looking clothes despite them being clean every single time!

I think someone is hiding rogue tissues in their pockets!

I don’t have anything overly helpful to add but wondered if it’s worth running a service wash. I occasionally use the dr beckmann one, only costs a couple of quid!

Good luck! 👍🏻

(also, please don’t put swimwear in with dog blankets 😅)!

Definitely try using a colour washing tablet (preferably biological) on your clothes. No good reason to use Fairy Non Bio, even if you have sensitive skin there is no guarantee that it will make any difference. It might well be the optical brighteners used in Fairy Non Bio (and all other detergents aiming to make white clothes look whiter). They are not good for coloured or dark clothes and could be the cause of the fluff effect that you are seeing.

No mixing of colours round here, all my clothes are black haha. It’s a mystery but one that I hope I’ll solve!
