Please don't panic too much!

I had this a few years ago had ultrasound etc. GP explained swollen lymph-node can be a sign of your body fighting an infection. I had just got over chickenpox! Took a few months but went down overtime.

I know it's hard not to but please don't overthink things. Good luck OP x

I’ve had a large lump in groin for over 10 years. Had two ultrasounds and it’s a lipoma. Completely harmless fatty lump, I just look like I’ve got one fatter thigh if I wear a swimming costume. NHS won’t remove it even though it’s grown steadily over past decade. Did look at going private but couldn’t justify the £2k spend. Good luck for your scan, hopefully you’ll have the same as me. Lymphoma is pretty rare I think.

Lymphoma = rare

Swollen lymph gland in gland in response to any sort of infection = extremely common and it's the body's normal way of dealing with an infection. Have you had a virus recently? Or even a bite or something on your leg?
