Now I've hit my thirties, I am aware of the wrinkles accumulating! Is the best treatment in your 30s Botox? Will this help? Greatly interested in peoples suggestions 😊

I will post a photo with a neutral face and then smiling

Can't give you advice pther then to say I'm 30 and thinking the exact same thing

TulipVictory · 03/08/2022 15:15

@Dottysmum18 oh the joys of getting older 🙈 I had a colleague say to me the other day, oh so and so is way younger than us as she is like 30. This colleague is 40! It's dawned on me I must look older than I am 😭

You've got a really lovely eye colour. No help on the botox, sorry.

Learn to live with thm, so your eyes crinkle when you smile, in most places that's a positive thing. As you get older you wrinkle, it's a fact o of life ignore the beauty industry who try to makes us but their products to keep us look in 20. I'm nearly 60 and am now happy in my face wrinkles and all.

OP I had similar at thirty and I did have botox for a few years. I'm late 40s now and stopped as I feel ready for my smile lines now but at thirty I didn't.

I have botox on my crows feet - I'm 29. Been getting it for a few years - it's fab. Makes such a difference to me and I'm way more confident with it. If it helps no one has ever noticed, not my mum, family, friends etc so it's clearly not drastic and face freezing (like some people think all Botox is!) but just makes me look smoother and feel a bit more happy!

TulipVictory · 03/08/2022 21:29

@yonce did you end up with bruising though? I would like it done but think my Husband would go mad 🙈

I was also thinking that!

As a bit of a cautionary tale I am pushing 40 a few of my friends starting having botox in late 20s/early 30s. They looked great at first but as they have aged they have started having more and more and some of then are beginning to look a bit oddly smooth. Trouble is they still look their age just a smooth egg-like version of a 40 year old.

@TulipVictory I had no bruising at all, I've never had any bruising with my Botox, but I think that's really individual depending on the person! I go to a registered nurse (been a nurse for 30+ years) who does aesthetics on the side, she's fab. I have a vein near one area I get injected and she's always really careful not to catch it. The first time I got it done my DH was so confused I think he thought I'd be bruised and bleeding 😂

willithappen · 03/08/2022 21:34

If it's something that would make you feel better and more confident then absolutely go for it!
It's not to everyone's taste, but I think if you find the right place and don't go overboard then it will be fine

If it makes you feel better then 100% go for it

TulipVictory · 03/08/2022 21:39

@Lilithslove and @AspireMe thanks about the eye colour 😊
