To have a huge girl crush on Laura Kenney?

I had a bit of a crush on her at the world championships. But it's got even worse after yesterday's win. She just seems such a lovely, down to earth woman.

You can fancy whoever you like. You don’t need to label it a girl crush though, this isn’t some 1950s boarding school!

A girl crush is different to a crush though. A crush is someone you're physically attracted to. A girl crush is someone you admire and would love to be more like, broadly. Different things.

I think sometimes people call it a girl crush because they don't want to examine to closely that it's an actual crush.

I was really moved reading about her miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy. I think it's amazing that she's come back physically and mentally for the Commonwealth Games. So inspiring.

I thinks she's just fabulous.

I love her verbal release when she's done a good race.

She seems to have a great attitude to life and it's been no easy year for her health wise.

It doesn’t offend me, but it does irritate me when people reduce the admiration for another woman to something that sounds a bit silly. Far better to say you admire someone.

It's not just admiring someone though...I admire a lot of people...there's just something about her I'm drawn to...and I can't even ride a bike!!
