To want to make a face to face doctors appointment?

the surgery I am registered at still does not offer face to face appointments, if you want to make an appointment it will be over the phone and they release these appointments throughout the day but the appointment will be a week or so away. If you ring on the day to speak to a dr they ring you back, if they feel you need to see a dr you can go in and see someone but it’s never an actual doctor that’s with the surgery it’s always someone drafted in for the day. I know Covid hasn’t gone away, but surely I’m not being unreasonable in expecting the surgery to now offer face to face appointments as they did before covid? I am happy to wear a mask, wash hands etc. anyone else have this still? Thank you

My surgery does this too. I was told by the receptionist it's so the Drs can concentrate on seeing the more serious cases face to face.

I do think that some ailments can be dealt with via a nurse, phone call or seeing a pharmacist.
